We have now been in Padre las Casas for two weeks. These two weeks have been amazing and it went by to fast. I feel like I can’t even put into words how much God has blessed are team here. The people here are amazing and the church does so much for everyone in this town from taking care of the kids, to taking care of the elderly. They are amazing and have blessed me more than I can say. We have got to spend time with a lot of people from the church. They have invited us to many dinners in their homes and have made sure we were feed well no matter what. They all have such a servants heart and even though they don't have a ton they always make sure we have plenty.

Art class has been amazing. Every morning I am blessed to get to see about thirty smiling faces. We have done so many projects. Thanks to Jessica who can make all kinds off things out of practically nothing. I know the kids are always excited to see what we are doing. I am usually just as excited to see how we are going to make it work. We have made birds out of construction paper, and flowers. One day we even read the story of creation out of the bible and had the kids drawl it.

We have built relationships with a lot of the kids not only the kids in the school but also from around town. It’s always a blessing when we can talk to them about Jesus and how much He loves them. We can’t stay here with them, or make sure they are safe. What we can do is introduce them to God. A God who will never leave them, a God who will protect them.

I will tell you a quick story of how God blessed us. Today we hiked up a mountain, it was amazing once we got to the top. We sat there and prayed and I could feel such a  peace from God. However, walking down the mountain we got lost and had a little adventure but it was good. We walked threw a little group of houses that we wouldn’t have went to otherwise and we got to sit and talk with the people. We also stopped in a store just to buy a pop and we got to pray for two people. One of which had a headache that immediately left after we prayed. Praise God!

God is blessing us more and more with opportunities to pray for people. We are not just missionaries when we are working at the school but all the time. On random walks threw town, at the grocery store, even when we hike to a mountain. I love it and I’m thankful that God blesses us with these little opportunities. I can’t wait to see what else He has for us this year.
