*This blog was written by the other 5 girls on Team Emunah. Each paragraph is one of us telling you all how much we love Amber and have seen her grow over the past 4 months!*

Goodness gracious has the Lord been working in this beautiful girls life.  Coming into the race Amber was one of those people who did not talk often but when she did, man was it powerful.  It has been wonderful to see God work in her to push us all to be vulnerable and say the hard things. Her urge to go deep with people shows how much she truly cares about you.  She is a woman out to know God’s heart and His children’s hearts as well. One of the biggest things I love about this girl is her laugh. It is one that is contagious and brightens the room.  It has been so awesome watching her grow and become more confident in who the Lord has created her to be. Stepping into letting your voice be heard and knowing that it matters is one of the biggest ways that He has shown me He is faithful.  Also can I just say this chic has a breathtaking voice when she sings so I am honored that I have gotten to hear that gift the Lord has given her! The way this girl is so devoted and determined to know our Father better is a motivation for me and is a leadership attribute.  So Amber, thank you for leading me in that. Thank you for your “yes” spirit. Thank you for bringing many laughs. Thank you for always pointing us back to God. Thank you for being an anchor for our team. I love you so much and sorry because you are stuck with me now!:)

Wowza. Just ‘wowza’ is what I have to say about this lady right here. The determination in her journey to strive for more from her relationship with Christ is just fascinating! Since day one she has been adamant about developing a deep and strong connection with Him she can better understand this crazy thing called life, while also showing the same drive towards becoming closer to all of us. When we first met I knew she was a sweet girls and that she was on fire for Jesus, but as time has gone on I have recognized a playful spirit, a witty banter, a growing understanding of what it means to be Christian, and a true desire to do more. She is such a woman of her word because when she says she wants to grow more and go deeper she just does it. She makes the time (in our sometimes very busy schedule) to dive into the word, pray with others, have one on ones with members of the team, go out of her comfort zone to vlog the race in order to share with everyone back home, and so much more that I could write for ages about the different goals she has set and met for herself. I’m so lucky to have gotten to spend the past four months with this woman as she grows and changes into the person God is calling her to be, because observing her determination and will to do as He says has pushed me to be more submissive to His calling in my own life. I will be eternally thankful for my time spent with this diamond of a girl with a smile that lights up an entire pier.

If you knew Amber before the race, make sure you take a picture with you when you meet up with her again because it will be impossible for you to recognize her otherwise. This girl has grown so much in the past 4 months, it’s ridiculous. I live with her & I can hardly believe how quickly God has changed her. He has smashed down walls & broken chains. He had taken a chameleon & given her bold, stand out colors. He has taken a silent bird & given her a voice of freedom, calling out for all those who will hear. He has taken the spirit of a timid bystander & transformed her into a riled up super fan. He has made a believer into a doer. He has made her weakness strong. He has infused her with courage to do the hard things. He has given her follow through & integrity. He had opened her eyes to the beauty of intimacy with Him, & has given her boldness & the heart to pray for those she loves. I know she covers our team, her bff Jenny, her sister Tiffany, & her parents in so much hopeful prayer, & I know God is using her faithfulness in that because I can see Him answering prayers in my own life. Her persistence to know & love God is growing stronger every day. She will not let the enemy keep her down — she has become a fighter. Amber is not the same woman she was when she left Katy, Texas. This is a woman who is refusing to be a victim to the hard things in life & is choosing to take God at His Word. She is choosing to see Him & act on what she knows to be true. This is a woman you will want to get to know again because she now knows how to share the gifts she has. She now can hear the beautiful Words God says about her & doesn’t have to rely on the affirmation of others. She still has places to grow but isn’t letting that discourage her — she’s just pressing in harder. She has learned her identity, & she isn’t stopping there. So old friends of Amber, I’m very excited for you to meet the new Amber…here we call her Ambrose 🙂

Oh man, I don’t know where to begin with Ambroski. I remember our first few interactions and knew immediately that she was full of wisdom but didn’t always speak it out. It has been incredible to see that growth in the first four months of the race. This month she came bouncing down the stairs one day, Bible in hand, to the breakfast table and boldly said, “I have a word from the Lord!” Some of my favorite moments with Amber have been those times when she has put her foot down and declared truth to our team. This girl has challenged me time and time again in the realm of vulnerability. For some of us on the Puppy Pack, vulnerability is not always easy. But Amber has gently and kindly pushed us to be vulnerable with grace and with love. One of the coolest transformations to see in Amber is that she is never satisfied with where she is. (That might sound weird at first, but hang in there). She is always striving to have a closer walk with the Lord and because of that she is never in one place and is never stagnant in her relationship with Him. She is always pushing herself and pressing in to have a closer relationship with the Lord and it is such a beautiful thing to see unfold. Ambroski, the Puppy Pack loves ya! 🙂

Amber loves the mountains, dates to the movies, and singing out to the Lord. She is a wise soul. When conversations start to rabbit trail or get off topic, she is always the one who brings us back to the main thing. She keeps the main thing, the main thing…Jesus. She is constantly stepping into the vulnerable and uncomfortable roles. She is so compassionate with every conversation. She loves with so deeply. I love when she gets really passionate or excited about one thing and starts doing her little happy dance, because it makes me excited. Amber is our story-leader. She not only lead us to share our stories with y’all but she lead us to share our most vulnerable and life changing moments in our lives. Amber reminds me of a roaring lion and not just because her hair is so beautiful, but because her voice is beautiful and is meant to be heard through the nations.
