Here is a quick update on me and the race!
My team- Ruthless Trust– and I are now in INDIAAAAAA living out month 7 of our race!
Let me tell ya, we had NO IDEA what to expect out of India, so we were preparing ourselves for the most difficult and most culturally opposite situations.
But nothing could have prepared us for what we actually got…
Sarah’s Covenant Homes.
Pretty much… a dream come true… LITTERALLY.
To us it was the dream ministry we were crossing our fingers to get.
But to Sarah… It was a literal, at night in her bed, asleep DREAM she was given… that has been realized and expanded upon.

SCH rescues children with special needs (ranging from Cerebral Palsy to Mal-Nourishment to HIV) from a place that, try as they might, can’t keep up with the sheer number of children that are left in their care.
Sarah has begun turning the tables… exchanging quantity for QUALITY.
We are staying in a home barely short of a mansion where they house approximately 30 kids. We are also working in 3 other homes run by foster moms with similar numbers per floor.
This upscale, high class neighborhood is being taken over by “Childrens Homes.”
I place “Childrens Home” in quotes because SCH tries desperately to do the best they can to provide a family environment. They emphasized upon our arrival… THESE KIDS ARE NOT ORPHANS. They are our children– treat them as such.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING.
They have taken the most outcast of this society… and neighbored them with politicians and movie stars. The last has become first!
These kids don’t get ratty hand-me-down clothes, they get the best. From literal RAGS to riches!
Any expectation we had about India… Out the window… and replaced with so many blessings!
We get to work one on one with kids all morning, do service projects in the afternoons, and if we have free time we can just pop up to the nursery and grab a baby to cuddle!
