Hello there!
My name is Amber and the first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE Jesus with all my heart! I also love that He has called me into missions through the World Race! In January of 2015, I will be leaving on an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries — what an incredible opportunity to serve God’s Kingdom and grow in my relationship with the Lord! I am beyond excited for this journey and pray that you are too!
In keeping with the 11 in 11 theme, here are 11 randomly selected facts for those of you who may not know me yet:
- I have lived in 5 states and 2 countries but have always called Florida home.
- I studied biology and psychology at Augustana College. Go Vikings!
- Tulips make me smile.
- I am blessed with 2 loving parents who have been married for 45 years.
- In August, I will have a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
- One of my favorite sounds is listening to dolphins breathe.
- By the strength of God, I have completed 4 marathons (and 10 half-marathons).
- If I could eat pumpkin flavored food all year, I would.
- I know a thing or two about sea turtles. They are amazing. Trust me.
- There is a 13 year age difference between me and my only sister.
- I am a WORLD RACER and anxiously waiting to see the ways God will use me and my squad in the upcoming year!
