So day one of my world race experience. Including a 1:30am flight, and then another 30mn flight, arriving to our destination at about 10am this morning. Needless to say sleep deprived, is the best summary of the start of this adventure. I was moved to a new team, which I know God has His hand on, so I am excited to see what happens and what He has planned for us. NO EXPECTATIONS, right? this is every world racers motto, one more easily said then done. Numb as I have been today, partly from shock, and partly the total lack of sleep, I know God is already moving in us. I know that this is going to be the hardest year I have ever had, and I know that God’s plan for me in this season is going to break me up like I didn’t know was possible. Stripping everything down to just Him and me, and then using me to bring His kingdom. I know it will hit me more tomorrow of what is going on, and wow I AM ACTUALLY HERE!!! I am praying God guards my heart, and keeps me so wrapped up in Him, I don’t focus on anything else, like family back home, or friends, or whatever! This year is about getting to know Him so deeply and so intimately, and just knowing His heart so that we can be that to everyone we meet, and everyone God tells us to speak to and minister to. I am so excited to see what this ends up looking like. 🙂 and for those of you reading this my prayer is that your heart would be stirred, and moved to know God more, to love more, and to live out the kingdom DAILY.
