Sod, dirt, chicken poop, shovels, tamping rods, and gloves. The ingredients needed to make the perfect soccer field. Oh yes, and the awesome work crew. All of which we have here at Kids international ministries in the Philippines. Our work consists of marking a whole, stabbing it to break the ground up, and then digging the whole out, putting chicken poop in the whole, and then a piece of sod and then packing in the dirt around the sod. Repeat 14,000 times. No exaggeration.  Sound like fun? It is actually a blast! I have been so fulfilled being apart of this ministry this month. Working on that field has brought me a joy that I didn’t know was possible to have doing that kind of work. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with allowing me to be apart of the work going on here.
So one day we working out on the field and it was so hot and we had been working for hours, and then like a shower from heaven, it began to rain! We all praised God for the down pour and continued to work in the refreshing rain.  It was the best work day ever. It was so much fun working out there with everyone, soaking wet, and just praising God in the midst of it all.
