Hi Friends!!
Thanks for visiting my blog, I am super excited to start writing on here about what the Lord is pouring into my heart!!
I’m from Mount Sterling, a small town in the bluegrass of KY. Currently I am a sophomore at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky and am pursuing a degree in nursing, I hope to have my BSN by May 2021! I truly love this profession and am forever grateful God called me to it (no matter the amount of stress it gives me sometimes). Right now I’m really interested in labor and delivery nursing, but I have two more years left before I graduate so who knows where the Lord will place me by the end of it.
I’m currently preparing to go on a World Race semester trip to Costa Rica for the month of June and could not be more excited to begin this journey! I have felt God calling me to go on a mission trip for some time now and the World Race is the perfect opportunity for this. I originally heard of the WR from one of my sweet nursing friends who went on a gap year a while back and that’s when I began looking into it. I cannot wait to see what God puts on my heart during this mission trip, both while preparing and in Costa Rica.
Some quick facts about me:
I love love LOVE animals, and if I had one wish come true it would be to pay all the adoption fees at animals shelters all across the county so that all the animals in the shelters could find loving homes (:
My favorite color is forrest green
I love hiking and camping at the Red River Gorge in KY
I adopted a cat this summer from my local animal shelter and named him Sawyer
