Friends and family,
I am in the position of once again asking for your help with raising money for this trip. But, this will be the last time!
I am the the home stretch of this race, we officially passed the half way mark 2 days ago, so now it's all downhill. Unfortunately, my downhill, without your help, may come sooner than expected.
To be fully funded, I need $4339.41 $2471.80 $1427.06 to get there. I know that seems like an exorbitant amount, but I know that if God is in this, then it is possible and it will happen.
Perhaps you don't have money to spare. Would you be willing to have a garage sale, a fundraising dinner, a silent auction? Or maybe there's not enough time for you to get all of that figured out. Would you be willing to spread this news to your friends and family, take up an "offering" at your workplace, church or in your community? I know that God is in control, but I can't do this without the help of you all, at least to spread the news about my need. I will also take all of your prayers.
I'm in a heart position where whatever happens, whether I stay on the race or go back to Denver. I would prefer to stay, as my heart is here, but I know that if the money doesn't come in, things back home will work out in some way, too.
