Hey ya'll 🙂
Training Camp to this point (not even 72) hours has been amazing! It's been really revealing and eye opening and just fantastic. I've put my tent up and taken it down 3 times, I had a tent mate one night and I watched fireworks from the comfort of my blog thanks to my awesome teammates as well as for celebrating our squad leader's birthday.
I've eaten some interesting meals. I've also not eaten some interesting (fish) meals. My time has been spent a sweaty, stinky, sticky mess. But it's been great. Worship has been AMAZING! It's been freeing and liberating and completely wonderful. I'm learning so much about myself and about Christ and his character and desire. I have spent a lot of time sitting and standing and dancing and laughing and hiking and walking, setting up and tearing down equipment, et cetera. It's hard to believe it's only been 3 days! It seems like a week at least. This is preparing me in so many ways and I can feel layers being peeled away bit by bit.
There is so much to tell, but unfortunately, I only have a small amount of time. When I see you all face to face, I would love to get together and talk with ya'll to explain some of this crazy, amazing, beautiful thing called training camp. We only have 4.5 days left, and it's so weird in that it is going to both fly by and go slow in the same instance. But, I wouldn't trade this experience, this beginning of my journey, for anything.
With love, blessings, and a grateful heart.
Yours.
