As many of you know, I flew down to Georgia a few weeks ago to attend training as a Squad Leader, to meet my co-squad leader, and to participate in my squad's training camp.

It was a whirlwind of a week but it was so, so good!

My CO-Squad Leader, incidentally from CO-lorado, is the gorgeous, feisty, and utterly lovable Laura Gamble. Laura and I met 2 years ago at our own training camp in 2009 on the foursquare .

Together we will be leading 45 amazing men and women of W SqWad as they start their World Race journey.

We love our DUBS!

I am so excited to walk this journey along side passionate men and women of faith, freedom, and love. They are amazing and I love them SOOOOOOO much. I can't verbally express the depths of my love and awe for them. They are an inspiration to me daily. And a source of so much encouragement. BAH. I'm so excited to walk with my ducklings through this journey and to see the ways the Lord is going to ROCK them, mold them and break off some things in their lives. Training camp was just the tip of the iceburg for all of them – and it was a heck of a tip.

The week flew by and it was bittersweet to leave them but thanks to facebook, instagram, blog updates, snapchat, and texting I get to keep in touch with them for these next 6 weeks.

Speaking of 6 weeks, that's the length of time I have until I leave. I've been blessed so far – found a girl to take my room in the apartment, my job ends pretty soon, I've been loved on and cared for by my Denver family and friends and many other things. There are still some things I need before I go and funds I need to raise but I am confident in the power of my God and His provision. He is good all the time!

So thankful these days.
