I'm finally back on the internet! We arrived in South Africa Thursday morning! This is how our travel day went. *Note, all times are adjusted to Cape Town time for simplicity's sake*
Wednesday 5:30 am CT time, we leave our hostel in Beijing headed for the airport.
Wednesday 10:00 am CTtime, we fly out of Beijing to Hong Kong for our connecting flight to Johannesburg.
Wednesday 2:20 pm CT time, we arrive in Hong Kong.
Wednesday 8:30 pm CT time, we fly out of HK to Johannnesburg.
Thursday 7:00 am CT time, we arrive in Johnannesburg after a 14 hour flight.
Thursday 12:30 pm, we catch a connecting bus from the airport to the bus station
Thursday 2:30 pm, after an hour and a half delay, we finally board our bus in Johannesburg to Cape Town
Friday 9:00 am, we arrive in Cape Town after a 19 hour bus ride.
Friday 11:11 am, we get off the metro line in Muizenberg, our final destination.
Friday 11:20 am, FINALLY, we arrive at our hostel after a 54 grueling hours of travel.
**Note, our travel times from Kids International Ministries in Manila to our first hotel in China was 49.5 hours**
I will say, however, that out of all our travel days, I got my best sleep on the bus ride from Jo-burg to CT. It was rather glorious. Time in CT has been great thus far! It's an absolutely beautiful place and I am so blessed to be here, to see the magnificence of God's creation. His glory truly is magnified in creation, it screams his name.

This month, I'm with 3 other teams in Muizenberg so internet time will be sparse. But i'll update as much as possible! Love you and miss you all!
