Hey friends!

I’ve been here in Cambodia for almost a month and a half now, and so much has happened. I live in Phnom Penh and work at ACE American Academy as a preschool teacher. It is crazy and the kiddos are full of energy all the time, but I love it! A lot has happened in the short month that we have been here, and I am learning a lot. Recently, God has been showing me what it looks like to find rest in Him. This was difficult for me at first but now I find myself needing my uninterrupted quiet time with Him every morning, which I enjoy doing on our roof.

Here’s some pictures to give you somewhat of an idea what my life is like, I hope you enjoy it and I’ll be posting more soon!

The outside view of our apartment and our street:

We found some puppies and have enjoyed watching them grow up:

Celebrated Christmas with my second family:

We’ve been painting rooms at ITCS and ACE every weekend:

Some pics from ministry of my pre-k kiddos 🙂

We went to the Killing Fields last week and learned about the genocide:

A few of us have the opportunity to paint a mural in the bible classroom at ACE! It’s only been a week and we just started painting but I can’t wait to post more about it when it’s done!

The first month and a half here in Cambodia has been amazing. We’ve already had unforgettable experiences and have made so many relationships. Thank you guys so much for supporting me, I can’t wait to see what the rest of these 4 1/2 months have in store!

With all of that being said, I am still in need of $5,377 dollars in order to remain on the field with my team. It is a big number, and I am in need of some big support. If you feel led to donate it would mean so much to me. All donations made through my blog are tax deductible. I have a little less than week to get as close to fully funded as I can. If you are unable to donate please consider supporting me through prayers. I know together we can meet this goal! God will provide! Thanks again!
