You are beautiful.
You are enough.
You are loved.
I may have cried. Ok I did cry a little bit.
Ladies, why are we so terrible to ourselves? How come we believe the lie that we are not beautiful, not good enough. What is it that convinces us, no matter what anyone else says, that beauty is a cut and dry thing.. something only models and actresses can attain?
What made me teary even more is that our creator finds us beautiful. We are saying God's workmanship is not good enough. We are not satisfied with the type of beauty he has given us.
"All beautiful you are, my darling; there is no flaw in you." Song of Songs 4:7
NO FLAW. I know when you read that you didn't believe it. What is that about. Why can't we believe God made us with no flaw? Our only flaw is SIN and that was taken care of on the cross.
Today I am praying for you, praying for me. I am praying for our flawed self, flawed in the way we see ourselves. I am praying we learn how to love ourselves better, love what God gave us. I praying that today, you feel beautiful- whether or not you made it to the gym today, or this week, whether your hair is in a hat or you just got a Brazilian blowout. None of it matters.
Change your view to the second sketch… That's how others see you and more importantly how God sees you.
