Last night we worshipped with 250 racers, a bunch of staff and alumni. As the night went on I felt myself pull back, I felt the weight of it all.
Am I really doing this? Going away for 11 months, seeking God’s will and answering whenever and wherever he tells me to go.
I want to be bold. I don’t want to hold back. I want to let God move mightily without me getting in the way.
We have all said our goodbyes, our packs are packed, and we are getting ready to go.
Today we fly from Atlanta to Johannesburg, South Africa. When we arrive we will have a couple days to travel the 1,000 miles form Joberg to Cape Town. When we arrive we will start ministry with Kingdom Sports sharing the love of Jesus with children through sports. What a blessing.
I know you are lifting us up in prayer. I know you are praying for our safety and health but I need something more.
Pray for boldness when we feel weak or inadequate. Pray for us to get out of the way so God can move in mighty ways. Pray for communication between teams and hosts and the people of SA. Pray for our families when we can’t keep in touch as much as they would like. Pray for people hungry for Jesus.
