"There is power in the name of Jesus.
To break every chain, break every chain."

Immediately I think of the chains in my life, ones that are broken and the ones I still cling to. I hold on to some of these chains and convince myself I am supposed to break them, even though I know about the power of his name. As I prayed I thought of the chains my team is dealing with, what they might be holding on to as God prepares us for this journey. I prayed for them to be broken.

"There is power in the name of Jesus.
To break every chain, break every chain."

Not some chains. Jesus didn't say he died for some of the sin in our life. He died for all of it, he broke the chains of death, he can handle every chain. Then he turns and gives us power, he gives us the power and permission to use his name, his spirit, his strength to break chains.

"There is an army rising up.
To break every chain."

I could only smile knowing that's us!

That is my team, January route 4, racers all over, people living on mission, YOU, sharing that power in the name of Jesus.

I prayed over our army, that they would be strengthened by the word of God, built up in community, I prayed for provision for our upcoming battle.

This strong army ready to break chains, called to use the power in the name of Jesus to travel to 11 countries in 11 months, to break chains.
I prayed for you: Lindsay, Briana, Abbie, Kimberly, Nate, Nicole, Drew, Audra, Hilary, Misti, Katie, Maggie, Katie, Lyndsay, Kristi, Caroline, Melissa, Jessica, Kristen, Amber, Chelsea, Courtney, Corrine, Katelyn, Sarah, Seth, Melissa, Stephanie, Brittany, Jamie, Lu, Doug, Katie, Shelby, Angela, Laura, Gloriel, Tara, Cori, Ali, Daniel, Kira, and me.

What an army, what power, and courage. I pray for what God is doing in all of our hearts, minds and bodies to prepare us for this fight against darkness.

"We don't want to hide
break the chains off my heart"

Hope this song spoke to your heart to, I hope it excites you for what God is doing, it sure excites me!

In Him.
