My ministry this month consists of playing cards with teenage boys, visiting church members in their homes, participating in home church/bible studies, and playing games with the youth that come to the church Monday through Friday for lunch.
Our days have been pretty chill here and I have been soaking it all in. Carly and I are in this season of ‘marinating’… marinating in all that Jesus wants to be sharing with us this month. We all prayed for a month of rest and for a RADIANT month and we have received both of those this month! Praise God, I am so thankful! I’m in this place where I could literally sit with my bible, journal, and a pen all day long, and still feel like I’m not getting enough of a devotional in. Jesus has created this insanely large hunger inside of my soul and all I want is MORE!! The lies of inadequacy that I felt last month, about my self-worth and purpose here, those have turned into a strong hunger… like I’ve never felt before. I’m never satisfied, but not disappointed with that, just craving more.
I’m thankful for this time that I have to sit with Jesus every day, and for the growth that He is doing inside of me and my team.
