Yesterday afternoon we said our goodbyes to Ireland and the friends we met.. It has been a good month of hard work, fellowship with one another, and lessons learned!.  As for the lighthouse ministry, I feel that our time there ended well.  We accomplished a lot in a short amount of time.  We cleaned out, swept, vacuumed, painted and organized rooms, made shelves, wiped down windows and walls, willing to do whatever tasks needed to be done!

We didn’t work the whole time though…we were grateful for the Irish culture of multiple coffee and tea breaks. Our sugar consumption was a little high this month though… where there is coffee there is also usually cookies ( biscuits or biki’s as the Irish call them) near by! Can’t complain about that though, they were DELICIOUS!!!! Also, break times allowed us to connect and get to know our contact Rocheanne. We asked questions, gathered other tidbits of information about hs life, Ireland in general, and the ministry we were working with.

On Tuesday, Thursdays , and Saturdays, we prepared food and helped with the lighthouses worship services.  I think these tasks helped us to realize that as long as we continue to be willing to be used by God, God can (and will) use us . To impact individuals in worship, you don’t have to have the best voice or be the most experienced worship leader, to make a shelf for pots and pans, or have to be a skilled carpernter.  And to impact lives for the kingdom of God, you don’t have to be the most eloquent speaker or prayer warrior!. God gave us gifts and talents that are unique to us…but beyond that He just desires us to seek and serve Him.  My team and I will definitly take that truth with us in the coming months!

ALSO, we arrived safely in Romania last night and will be taking a train to Maldova tomorrow where we will be doing ministry this month.  Keep Team Benkadi in your prayers I know we are going to continue to need Gods hand and provision upon us in the coming days!
