When the clocks fell back our last Sunday In Serbia (a week before America’s time change), lets just say we were suprised.    We were an hour early for church and  I could only think to myself, “What to do , what to do.” Some of us went to get coffee, some of the team practiced for the worship service, and I just kind of sat. I sat thinking about what I was going to say in giving my testimony that morning. I sat thinking about Serbia; and the fact that I never would have imagined being there… and I just sat worshipping God for His timing and the opportunity to just sit!

Also, in thinking about God’s timing, it was encouraging this past weekend to have our whole squad was together for our debrief.   We had a little get together and were each assigned a superhero to arrive as. Funnily enough, Clocks ( the greatest superhero of all time) was my identity. While I couldn‘t stop time or speed it up, I could surely tell it to someone (If they were in dire need!).

Believe me though it’s a good thing I have that super power because, telling time on the race can get tricky. Sometimes (when I am undercover) I  even ask myself, “what day is it again?” Another one of my covers is pretending not to have mastered the technology that is my five dollar Walmart watch…but that is a whole different story!

In all seriousness though, time on the race has gone by fast and with that has come some changes. We are currently in Istanbul Turkey in our fourth month, and this past weekend our squad leaders were named. They are Mike and Denise Murphy, and Tamica Sloan. My team has also changed. I am now on team Fresh  Katie is now the team leader of team Fanatics and Hollis is our new amazing leader. We have gained a new awesome team member as well, Drea Stazer. I am excited for the time spent with our squad this week and to see God’s hand in the changes that have been made. It going to be good to watch our community continue to grow and be built up over next few months!
