Sooo I know you've all been wondering who these lucky people are that get to spend the next year with me, so I figured it was about time to introduce you!

But seriously, I am the lucky one! If you can't tell from the pictures, I have been blessed with an incredibly crazy, spirit-filled team! The Lord has called me into a season of leadership where I will be "la abuelita" (little grandmother) to a team of 5 amazing women. Every one of them is filled with compassion, faith, and a servant heart to go out on this journey and change the world. I am amazed by the way God has brought us together, and cannot wait to see how He will use us this year!

So…here they are!

Natalie Reeves (Nat or Netters)

Natalie is amazing! She is seriously one of the most encouraging and funniest people I have ever met. I have no doubt she is going to keep things exciting this year, and I am so thankful to have her by my side. She has such an open and willing heart and I know God is going to use that to reach out to so many people and bless lives all around the world! You can check out her blog here: http://nataliereeves.theworldrace.org

Olivia Gill (the money lady)

Okay fine, so I may have just made up that nickname, but only because Olivia has graciously accepted the position to be in charge of our team finiances and budget this year. What a blessing! Olivia has such an incredible servant heart and it is so clear that her willingness and faith will lead her to many great experiences this year. Because she is so selfless and ready to serve, I know she is going to bless the lives of many of God's children! You can follow her blog here: http://oliviagill.theworldrace.org

Annee Cortopassi (Oscar)

Oh Annee…where to begin. Annee and I clicked instantly – despite her overwhelming northern accent. She has such a fun spirit and a passion to truly serve the Lord, and I am so excited to laugh, grow, and serve with her this year! I can't wait to see the many great ways God is going to move in her! Check out Annee's blog here: http://anneeballard.theworldrace.org

Kristin Frizzell (Frizz)

Frizz is like the ideal teacher with all the qualities I seemed to lack. She'll set you straight, tell you like it is, and make sure you're always in line – I love it! Although we often have different perspectives and ideas for getting things done, the Lord has blessed us with an amazing ability to work well together! She has an incredibly compassionate heart and I know the Lord is going to use her to push this team to grow immensely. You can find her blog at: http://kristinfrizzell.theworldrace.org

Jenna Harvey (…Jenna? tbd)

Last but definately not least…Jenna! Jenna is undoubtedly one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met. She has a gentle and kind spirit that is incredibly welcoming, and I know that children and adults around the world will find it very easy to get to know her! I'm so thankful to have her as a part of this family. Check out her blog here: http://jennaharvey.theworldrace.org

On the last night of camp, we had a commissioning service as a squad. At the end of the service, we were given a little bit of personal time as a team, and during this time I was able to wash the feet of my teammates and tell them how much they mean to me & how excited I am to serve them.
To my surprise, when I was finished, they all turned and washed my feet together, reminding me that they were there to serve me too. I was moved to tears knowing that no matter what we would face this next year, we would always have each other. It's not always going to be easy, and it's not always going to be fun, but the Lord has brought us together for such a time as this.
All I could think was: "These are the people that I am going to change the world with!"

I am so honored, blessed, and excited to spend the next year of my life with these amazing women!
