I realize that I am really bad at keeping everyone at home updated on what is going on with me. My team and I have been in Liepaja, Latvia for a little over a week. We spent the week before that in Riga, Latvia on debrief with our Squad Coaches, mentor, leaders and all of Z Squad. We had team changes. Most of my team stayed together but The Unexpected is no more, we lost the two guys, Jesse and Derek moved to a different team, and we gained two Ladies from a different team. We are now an all girls team. As an all girls team we have the ability to grow in a special way to together as ladies. My team is now Team Evermore.
Meet my new team-
Cori Ward- From The Unexpected.
She is from Colorado and very proud of it. She loves the outdoors, eating bell peppers like apples, running, ice cream and thinks chacos are the best thing since sliced bread. She also likes to get into my personal space.
Oralia Espinola– Also from The Unexpected.
She is back and is doing great! She is from Texas/New York. Spanish is her first langue, has only been speaking English for about 10 years. She likes fashion, art, music, Europe sour cream, and she can’t wait to get to China and hold a panda.
Katie Poe – From The Unexpected.
She is from Georgia, loves her Georgia bulldogs, and College football. She is very outgoing, full of energy, loves people, and being able to show Christ love to them. She also loves ice cream, and going on Shenanigans aka anything and everything.
Lindsey Schlingman – New teammate.
She is from Colorado. She loves chocolate, Coffee, Anne of Green Gables, and thinks Keira Knightley version of Pride and Prejudice is better than the one with Colin Firth.
Kim Tomas – New Teammate.
She is from South Jersey, loves books, loves basketball, her motorcycle, the beach, warm weather, working out, playing card games, and has a great sense of humor.
