We’ve settled
into a nice routine here in Country X. The thought of leaving at the end of the
month saddens me. I think we’ve become quite familiar and comfortable here with
how things are going, and we are definitely seeing good things.
I think my
team and I are having one of our best months as far as team dynamics and
spending time together go. I’m very grateful and glad for this. We are changing
for the better.
Also we’ve
made some pretty good friends here that we enjoy spending time with. We’ve met
some volunteers as well as enjoying the local people. Although, we are losing
the battle with the local critters…ants….who knew how annoying they are and how
much they bite? 😉
For me
personally, I’m growing and changing a lot and it’s been really good. I’ve been
getting up early every morning to spend time with Abba and I don’t need my
alarm clock for He wakes me. It’s nice to know that He’s just that excited to
spend time with me each day. And He knows when I need to sleep in a little more,
unlike an alarm clock.
