I was born in the beautiful Rocky Mountain state of Colorado but have spent most of my life in South Louisiana. I have incredible, loving parents who have always supported me despite my constant desire for travel. I have one little sister who is my best friend! Sisters are built-in best friends for life!

Student: I graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2013 with a degree in journalism. I miss school, but not the constant homework!
Writer: I love to write and have been writing stories as long as I can remember. I love to tell people’s stories!

I can pretty much always be found carrying a book with me wherever I go. I am always looking for a great read. Some of my favorites are classics such as Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre and stories about missionaries like Jim Elliot.
Traveler: I love to travel! Whether a road trip across the US or a 17-hour plane ride to Swaziland, traveling makes me excited! I love adventure, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.
Lover of History: Growing up in the South is a great opportunity to daydream while exploring beautiful old plantations! I love to learn about history and read historical books while enjoying a cup of tea.
