Hi all! My name is Amanda and I’m 22. I was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but really grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am the oldest (but shortest!) of four and my family is just straight up incredible. My love for adventure and the outdoors came from the fam. Our idea of a family vacation was spending a month in a suburban traveling west hitting up all the national parks along the way. I’m a proud “Junior Ranger” in over twenty national parks. J

I really love sports. Playing college soccer my senior year was a definite highlight. And then there’s football….My childhood ambition was to start the WNFL. True statement. I already had my sister Sarah pinned down as first draft pick for QB. I’m also crazy about waterskiing, kayaking, rappelling, skydiving, hammocking…well, okay to be honest, put me outside and I’m good to go!!

I grew up going to a small Christian school and had awesome teachers who really paved the way for me to go to Ouachita Baptist University, a small college in Arkansas. I have graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies and studied under the wisest as well as the most loving professors I could imagine. They have truly revealed to me what it looks like to live out the Christian faith combining head, heart, and hands, and have been critical in being used by the Lord to develop my heart towards missions!!

I have spent four summers working at Pine Cove Christian Camps in East Texas. Pine Cove holds a very special place in my heart as I have seen the Lord do powerful things both in my own life as well as in the lives of others.

I’m so super stoked about the World Race and what the Lord is going to do!!!
