On the eve of my 27th birthday I sit and reflect on all the ways God has blessed me and provided for me. I am so thankful for my friends and family, for the plethora of experiences I have been privy to, but the most important gift was the most expensive and most extravagant expression of love I will ever receive; that of Jesus dying so I could have such a rich and full life.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest.” – John 10:10

While I am thankful to be celebrating another year of life, the reality is that my time on Earth is limited and I know and love many who do not know the love of God or that Jesus wants a relationship with them. I am no expert and don’t have all the answers but I do know that when I die there will be a far greater celebration than that which occurred at my birthday. I will be in Heaven residing in the unwavering, unconditional love of Christ.

Where will you be?

“Believe in God; believe also in me (Jesus)… for I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”- John 14:1,6

If you are reading this, there is a reason; God is speaking to you through my words. No matter what you have done, no matter what you are doing, no matter what you will do in the future; God loves you.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son in to the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:16-17

Can you imagine choosing to die for a stranger? Or worse yet, volunteering someone you love deeply to die? I can’t comprehend the sacrifice and LOVE that would have required, yet Jesus chose to do that for you! He loves you soooo much! If you are a stranger to Him, He wants you to become a friend. He wants you to know Him and the unconditional love He has for you. If you already have a relationship but want to know Him more intimately just ask. Ask to know Jesus, ask to become His friend.

He already loves you and is waiting for a moment such as this.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
