So a week later… I have some upDates for you!
we found out last week the official letter names for our squaDs (the three that are launching in January) and our squaD colors. If I haven’t explained this yet let me stop and Do that now. A squaD is the giant group of people that travel to the same countries together. Within each squaD, we are broken Down into teams.. teams will be formeD at training camp (but more on that a little later). there are three squaDs that are launching in January and up until this point we have been referreD to as route 1, 2, or 3. I am on route 2 which is now known as………..
THE D SQUAD
I am so pumpeD for our squaD. This group of people has alreaDy become like my family. We will officially meet next week (at training camp) but up until this point we have been communicating through facebook, texts, phone calls, skype, etc. This wonderful group of people that I will introDuce to you in a blog all of itself has encourageD me, built me up, and helpeD me on this journey alreaDy. Can you believe that?? anD we haven’t even seen each other face to face yet! Wow!!
So since THE D is my squaD, this blog is now DeDicateD to all things involving the letter D!!!
Dip: Let’s take a little Dip into my DeaDline worlD. I officially maDe my first DeaDline!!!!!!!! I passeD the $3500 goal and I am now on my way to the next goal of $6500 by December 18th! I am so thankful to all who have DonateD. Whether that amount was small or GREAT I am so thankful for you and your willingness to partner with me in this ministry. When I see your names on my account it reminDs me that I have an amazing support system behinD me, telling me that YES I can Do this! So thank you so much. This month I want to challenge you all to tell just THREE frienDs about my ministry that might be able to help out. Networking is huge anD I know all of you, who have your own network of people, who have their own network of people. Also, I will be having a funDraiser or two when I get back from training camp. A Scotch Doubles is in the works as well as t-shirt sales. So Definitely stay tuneD for more info about that!
Dive: I am Diving into the awesome and amazing promises that God has for me through this journey. I am Diving into the worD and reaDing scripture like it is my job. I am Definitely going to be reaDy to punch satan in the mouth.

Duck: Later this week… on friDay actually(!!!!!!!!) I will be leaving michigan to head to ohio for the night where I will be staying with one of the girls from my squaD. From ohio on saturDay she and I will Drive to georgia where will are having a GIANT sleepover with people from our squaD. So I am getting reaDy to Duck heaDfirst into this aDventure! and I couldn’t be more exciteD about it. I can’t wait to meet this squaD and finD out who teams are. I can’t wait to experience training camp and see what it is like. I am trying to go in with zero expectations.
