Wow so I can’t believe we have been here for almost two weeks. This is crazy. We started another ministry this week in addition to the hospital and grandpa houses that we have been going to. This new ministry is sweet already. We are going to different schools in the area and next week we will be teaching a values class. We have already been to five different schools and we have at least one more to go to. This week has mostly been a week of introductions. We took a drive about 2 hours away up into the mountains to visit one school. It was crazy and awesome and fun. We mostly just introduced ourselves and played a couple games with three different classes.
The children and people here are so beautiful. What they go through in a day just astounds me and I admire this culture. They have done what they can to preserve their heritage and their cultural norms. Seeing little ones and teenagers wearing native clothing is so sweet and just melts my heart every time. I am enjoying this time here in Antigua so much. We are so blessed this month, being here in this awesome city.
Two other teams came to visit last weekend and it was so good to see them. Even though it had only been a week since we saw them last, it seemed like years. I was so grateful to see them. I got to catch up with my dear Missy and just get refreshed by this family. It was such a special time. I loved it.
