God is such an amazing artist, I could just sit and stare out a window at creation all day long, especially here in Romania. I’m convinced God had a special plan when he painted Romania, from the rolling plains of the west to the mountains of the east.
This month my team is working in Targu Mures, a city in the center of legendary Transylvania (and no, I haven’t seen a vampire). Our house more specifically is in a small Hungarian village 13 km outside of the city, surrounded by frosty cornfields and rolling hills. It’s picturesque and perfect.
So, with many blogs in the works about our ministry this month and miracles God has already preformed, I just couldn’t wait to share a little Romania with you, so here are some pictures of the beautiful Romania surrounding me so far!

Fall in Romania is awesome!
From the window on our train to Targu Mures from Bucahrest. The mountains in SouthTransylvania are huge!
In villages like the one we live in, horse and carts are still a common way of transporting things
Houses in the gypsy villages are so fun and colorful!
The cornfield we walk through to get to our bus on our first day in Targu Mures
Kids cloths drying on a fence in a gypsy village
Sunset over farm houses
This awesome building is on the main square in downtown Targu Mures
Then on day 4 it started getting frosty, and each day it’s gotten frostier and frostier and now, it’s so cold the frost doesn’t even melt, giving us a real, iced winter wonderland.
Now I just have my fingers crossed for snow!
