This past summer I had the awesome opportunity to go as a youth leader with my youth group to a CIY Move conference. That week we were blessed with an amazing, fun and humble worship band, The Jordan Howerton Band. I’ve always felt really connected when I worship, but that week there was a power in the worship. One song spoke to me in particular and it became the cry of my heart. It’s words spoke to exactly what I was feeling and how I was being called. But eventually the week ended, we went home and the songs faded. Then, the other day at work I was typing on my computer and caught myself singing a song, it was the song from CIY. I hadn’t heard it in months, but it’s now that I realize the connection and why I felt so deeply about it. God was speaking to me and I was crying out back to him.
