Thoughts Update:
Time here has definitely been a both a blessing and a
growing experience. We have had the opportunity to share about Jesus with many
people and visit with people from villages all around the Mzuzu area. It has
been a good lesson in trusting the Lord to continually provide words to speak.
I have been given the opportunity to teach large groups of children and share a
message with them and talk to villagers, sometimes without much or any
preparations, and have had to totally depend and trust on the Lord to have
words to speak…I sometimes feel like Moses did where he did not want to speak
and felt he had no words, but God kept telling him over and over that he will
be with him and give him the words- it seems to be a matter of willing to jump
into things and just trust God will show up and provide in the moments when you
have nothing of your own to give and only what God provides to share- which is
be all means, far more powerful than anything one person could come up with on
their own.
Support Raising Thanks/Update:
First- A huge thanks to everyone who has been sending
prayers, words of encouragement and comments, and who have been financially
supporting me. It continues to blow me away how God has provided the right
times and in the right ways and how generous and huge of a heart so many people
have and have been sharing. I really can’t explain how encouraging and powerful
it is to have such support! So thank you, thank you! Honestly, and not at all
in the cheesy way, although it sounds cheesy, this mission really would not be
possible without all of your support, and I have seen lives from around the
world changed from it, including my own.
Ways to continue supporting
this journey and mission:
Prayers are
always needed and very much appreciated! I also love getting updates from people and what is happening at home because that is
also an encouragement to me! Financially,
I still have a total of $2,600 left
to raise (from a total of $14,300…which still blows me away how much has been
provided!! whoa) so if you feel called to give, you can through this blog page
or by mail. We have been given a deadline of the start of January to have this goal met. Again, all the support from everyone
is such a blessing and is very much appreciated!
