It was fun packing for training camp. After gathering all of our living materials into one small bag, I looked around our house and it didn't even look like anything was missing. It was a humbling experience to pack everything that I will need for 11 months into one bag and leave the rest of our stuff, knowing that it was all unnecessary.
After arriving at training camp, I almost immediately wanted to go back home! I'm really not a very outgoing person, so it was hard to try and get to know everyone. There are about 50 people in our squad and after 2.5 days I still don’t think I’ve met everyone.
Now that we are here, in the thick of everything, I am very excited about leaving. September is coming up very fast!
