Ever since I was a little girl, I have had this crazy thought in my head that I could be the next Mother Theresa. I mean, who doesn't want to be single their whole life and have everyone know them for the good they've done? But in all seriousness, I have always had a dream to travel the world and change it for the better… Why? You could say I'm ambitious.
People who really want to make a difference in the world usually do it, in one way or another. And I've noticed something about people who make a difference in the world; they hold the unshakable conviction that individuals are important, and that every life matters. They get excited over one smile. They are willing to feed one stomach, educate one mind, and treat one wound. They aren't determined to revolutionize the world all at once; they are satisfied with small changes. Over time, though, the small changes add up. Sometimes they even transform cities… nations… and yes- THE WORLD!
If there is one thing that I have noticed about people crazy enough to think they can make a difference, it's that they do! And they do it good. I hope to one day follow in their footsteps. Because, friends… I'm one CRAZY nugget!
