Hi! My name is Alysse, & I currently live in the wonderful city of Nashville, Tennessee & go to Belmont University! I will graduate in May with a degree in psychological science, and hope to later pursue graduate school & a career in Occupational Therapy! I would love to one day work with children with developmental challenges and various learning disabilities.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family (who currently live in Ohio, though we have all moved around quite a bit!) I have two younger brothers, and sweet parents who have always been great role models for me.

Things that bring me joy: Jesus, funny friends, sunshine, worship, laughter, Utah mountains, live music, the city of Nashville, coffee in any form, family, travel, psychology, and great food.

But most important in this “about me”, is that I’M GOING ON THE WORLD RACE!!!

In September of this year, I will begin an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries. My team will be serving in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Botswana, Swaziland, South Africa, Albania, Turkey, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. In each country, we will partner with a different ministry to serve those in need & to show people love as Jesus would.

I am absolutely overjoyed that this is happening. I have never felt so called to something as I have for the race, and I cannot wait to see what the Lord does through this experience! Had you asked me a year ago, this is not what I thought I would be doing right after graduation, but the Lord completely put this on my heart and said “go”, so I said yes!

If you would like to follow my journey on the World Race, you can do so via this blog. This will be my main communication source for the entirety of the race!

If you are reading this, first of all- THANK YOU! I truly appreciate it. Thank you for taking interest in this mission. I am both excited & anxious about this adventure, & I kindly ask for your continuous prayers and support along the way!
