I can’t wait to take on the Andes Mountains and tropical rainforests of the Amazon Jungle! Peru is known for its biodiversity as well as its ancient civilizations. This country is home to many indigenous groups full of unique and beautiful culture. My dream is to visit Machu Picchu and explore the ruins if we are able to. There is so much history from the Spanish Colonia era and many old remains to visit such as in Lima and Cusco!Corn, potatoes and rice are some of the staple foods here so I am ready to load up on the carbs!!

We will be partnering with a few different groups while in this beautiful place. The first being Waldir and his family. They work along the Amazon river planting churches and doing outreach to children and families of the region. We will also be working with the Josephine house which is an orphanage for children with special needs who are often neglected and abandoned in Peru. The house is in Cusco and my heart is so ready to love these children! We will also be spending some time in Lima at the YWAM base helping with teaching English and children’s ministry. Lastly is Joe and Maria who reside in Trujillo and also help with church plants and outreach as well as youth events.

I am so excited grow in love and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for my squad.
