“And so Jesus went throughout Galilee. He taught in the synagogues. He preached the good news of the Kingdom, and He healed people, ridding their bodies of sickness and disease. Word spread all over Syria, as more and more sick people came to Him. The innumerable ill who came before Him had all sorts of diseases, they were in crippling pain; they were possessed by demons; they had seizures; they were paralyzed. But Jesus healed them all. Large crowds from Galilee, from Jerusalem, from the ten cities called the Decapolis, from Judea, and from the region across the Jordan followed him.” – Matthew 4:23-25
The time here in the Philippines has been one filled with God’s mighty presence and power, yet with that said there has been a lot of spiritual warfare that has been taking place amongst my squad.
Many of my squad mates are having health issues, experiencing night attacks and having restless sleep, battling inner battles, or have received disheartening news from home.
One of my teammates has been leading and challenging me and the squad to pray those big prayers because we have a big God. Our goal is to be able to pray with complete expectancy and boldness that our God is higher and has already won. Attaining that authority that He has already given us and walking in that is something that I am challenging myself and my team to step in to. With that said, I am also asking you to take part in this journey and come along side us with your prayers.
There is no doubt that this place is covered by God’s power and presence, but there is an enemy which is on the other side trying to fight its way in.
I want to encourage all of you prayer warriors out there: family, friends and whoever is reading this to pray those bold prayers.
With love,
Alyssa O.
