Hey Everyone!
There has been so many new and exciting things happening regarding the World Race. We found out that we will no longer be going to Greece or Botswana. Instead we will be going to Albania and Zimbabwe! I am not sure why this switch was made, and I was a little disappointed to not be going to Greece at first, but I know God has amazing things for us in Albania and Zimbabwe! Also, if there is one thing I have learned on previous mission trips, it is to be flexible and let God work. So that is what I am choosing to do!
We also found out our launch date! We will be launching January 6th or 7th out of Atlanta, Georgia! Which means I have 137 days until I say goodbye to my family and friends and I am on my way to India. I have so many emotions running through me! (Mostly excitement!)
Training camp is in 56 days! I will be spending 10 days in Georgia getting to know everyone, drawing closer to God, and roughing it!
Fundraising has been challenging but so rewarding! With your support I have raised around $6,000! Which means I am 35% funded!
I was able to raise $1,000 through a work event put on by Orangethoery Fitness! It was so humbling to see everyone come together and help me raise money for my missions trip! I was blown away by everyone’s generosity!
My shirts were a huge success, I still have a handful of red ones left so if you haven’t gotten yours yet there is still time!
I also have 90% of my gear which is a huge burden lifted! Praise Jesus! I am in love with all of it and love trying it all out!
