Transfixed. Zack is so obsessed with the things of the Lord. If he were running a race, and there was a wall in front of him, he would literally run straight into it. But – with his eyes still fixated on heaven – he would jump up and keep running. Fully engaged. Totally in love with God. Transfixed. Jesus was so in love with the Father, so focused on his goal, so enthralled by his people, nothing could keep him from them. Nothing could keep him from humbling himself to the the point of death. Nothing could keep him from pouring out all that he was for our freedom. For our victory. For our life. He was transfixed on heaven in such a way that made him invincible. Nothing could keep him from sacrificing everything for us. Zack walks in confidence of this. He also seeks to make the Lord’s relentless nature known to everyone.
