We had a wonderful time in Turkey this month! Here are some of the highlights:

I have a new team! And I just know that it was hand-picked by God. Every single one of these ladies is a GEM, and I couldn’t imagine doing the last leg of this Race with anyone else!

We had the opportunity to film some videos for the local church we were partnering with. It was a series of nine teachings (1-2 hours each) about the foundations of Christianity. And it was all in Turkish which made editing a bit tricky, but I got to learn how to edit with a translator! The pastor told us that these videos would be an invaluable resource for reaching out to Turkish Muslims!

My team and I also had the chance to visit Troas, a Turkish city with rich biblical history. It was the place where Paul received the Macedonian Call (see Acts 16) and where he preached a sermon so late into the night that a man named Eutychus fell asleep, tumbled from the window, and died; he was then restored to life after Paul prayed for him (see Acts 20).

Gavidan is an amazing new believer that we had the privilege of pouring into this month and BAPTIZING! She is one of two known believers in the city where we were working. Pray for community to rise up around her and the church to GROW!

**Tomorrow we are starting to hike the Camino de Santiago, a spiritual pilgrimage of sorts. People come from all over the world to do this journey and many are seeking an encounter with God. As we walk alongside people, listen to their stories and share our own, we hope to help them experience Jesus in an unforgettable way! 🙂
