Seven years ago, God planted the dream of doing the World Race in my heart, and now it’s finally happening! There’s excitement, anticipation, a few nerves, but mostly a sense of “this is what I was made for.” I landed in Atlanta a few days ago and was reunited with my squad, which is made up of 30 people from across the United States who share one purpose: to make disciples of all nations!

Within our squad, there are 6 teams of about 5 people each. These are the people I will be doing life and ministry with day to day for the next 11 months. We have decided to call ourselves Team Freefall! Our desire is to embody what it means to dive into the scary unknown – stepping out in boldness, pulling others into freedom, risking everything for the gospel, yet knowing our heavenly Father will catch us EVERY time.

Right now, I’m in the Atlanta airport about to fly to Australia for our first month of ministry! While 65% of the population in Australia professes to be Christian, there are also 20 unreached people groups there. Additionally, new age beliefs and atheism are prevalent, especially among the younger generation. I’m so excited to see who the Lord brings across our path this month! We will be partnering with the YWAM base in Byron Bay doing various forms of outreach. Pray that the Lord moves in miraculous ways!
