Is the most beautiful place I have ever been. I was staying in Cape Town, Elsiesriver to be more exact. Me and my team lived with our host parents, Ma & Pa. We lived in a little house in a neighborhood filled with children; and it was located right next to a playground. So we would step outside and there were at least 20 kids ready to play! They were my ministry this month. We did lots of other things; prayed for the sick, talked on international radio, fed the hungry, painted the playground, and discipled one another. But the Lord gave me His heart for those children. I loved them all with everything I had.
We got to see a lot of touristy things also while we were in Cape Town; Table Mountain, the Pacific & Indian Ocean, Cape Town Harbor, whales, sharks, jellyfish, crabs, and seals. But the one image I cannot get out of my head is the smirk of this little girl.

Her name is Celeste. She is a spunky little girl who wants to be a hair dresser when she grows up. She lives in the neighborhood with her parents who are Old Apostolic believers. I wasn’t able to understand the whole doctrine but from what I gathered this is a denomination that believes the Apostles were better than Jesus and they follow Peter, kind of. It is very traditional and man made. The priests are the only ones allowed to read the Bible and what they say goes. They are the blind leading the ones the’ve blinded. I hung out with this girl almost everyday. She is a part of the Christian Mission we partnered with but mostly for the social aspect. I prayed for her everyday, and I continue to intercede for her and I am asking for you all to do so too. Pray for her eyes to be opened to the truth being taught at the mission. Pray that she will be the spark in her family that will eventually lead them all into the light of Jesus Christ. She is a special little girl who has stolen my heart. Partner with me in prayer for Celeste.
