Dumella! (hello in Sesotho) It’s month SIX, can you believe I’m already half way through the World Race?! Time is flying by so fast. This month the Fire Followers are living in Mokhotlong, Lesotho. We are partnering with Harvesters Church. They have already made us feel a part of the family. They have a “missionary house” built in the middle of the town and we are so excited to be living in and embracing the culture! It’s winter here and we have no heat so pray for no snow! We’ll see if this Texas girl can hang with the cold. The Besotho’s (people of Lesotho) style usually includes wrapping a blanket around them as a poncho or skirt so I will definitely be rocking that outfit this month.
In the next 27 days we will be helping with soup kitchen in the hospital and spending time with patients getting to know them and pray for them, jail ministry, manual labor, hospital visits, youth ministry, and also leading church services at the main church and other branches. We are excited to see what this month has instore for us! I got to play soccer with the neighborhood kids our first day here, that’s how you know it’s going to be a great month!
