You aren’t worthy.
You don’t have what it takes to be a World Racer.
You aren’t pretty enough to catch any decent man’s attention.
You aren’t a real Christian.
These are all words I hear on a regular basis from the accuser. The one that wants to break me down and tear me away from who I am in Christ. But I am not letting these words lay claim to me. I am holding on to the truth that
I AM HIS BELOVED and I AM RIGHTEOUS IN HIM.
{For there is now NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life SET ME FREE from the law of sin and death.}
Romans 8:1-2
I am not going to let these words take hold in my heart. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 10, I am {demolishing arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God} and {taking captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ}. I will fight by resting in HIM who has called me out of darkness and into a life with Him.
You aren’t worthy
{For You created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.}
Psalm 139:13-14
You don’t have what it takes to be a World Racer.
{Faithful is He who calls you, and He will also bring it to pass}
1 Thessalonians 5:24
You aren’t pretty enough to catch any decent man’s attention.
{The King is enthralled by your beauty.}
Psalm 45:11
You aren’t a real Christian.
{So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.}
Galatians 3:26-29
Let my intimacy with the Father increase as I run to him in the face of these accusations.
