11 Things God Taught Me
- Vulnerability is key in community.
- There is no shame in my testimony. God has been walking beside me since I was a little girl and He has showered me with blessings, protection, and His abundant love.
- I can hear the voice of my Father and His Spirit guides me.
- The Lord overwhelms me with peace and strength in difficult times if I just look to Him.
- I can be confident as a leader when I hear the Holy Spirit speak to me.
- I can’t be an effective leader if I am trying to be a people pleaser.
- Give complete control over to God (in ALL things) and then have peace and a good attitude when not in control.
- My pride gets in the way so easily and I think I can do things on my own. Every day, I need to come before the Lord in humble submission, recognizing my desperation for salvation.
- Community can be really messy but it is not something that should be avoided. The difficult conversations produce understanding, love, and trust.
- Give thanks and praise the Lord even when the situation around you might make it hard to.
- God is always God and He is always good! He never changes and is with us through all things.
