In total on Saturday $922.80 was raised in a matter of less than 6 hours, the Lord for sure provides! Not to mention there wasn’t really a dent made in all the paintings, signs, and pallet board shelves. God’s faithfulness is beyond real, it’s so present and clearly visible each and every moment of every day! No god compares to our God!
So I’m going to share with you what happened on Sunday, and tell you what God showed me through it. Alright so after church a group of us girls went fishing, having a good time in fellowship with each other. Then right before we were all suppose to leave my friend Hannah, car keys fell out of her purse and plopped into the lake right by the dock. So we hopped in the cold murky lake water in search of the keys. Each of us praying individually that we’d find them, so after twenty minutes or so of searching by diving, using nets, using a large magnet, we all got in a circle and prayed knowing that God hears us, that He was in the midst of us, and for sure knowing that “all things work together for the good of those who love God” (Romans 8:28). The whole time we all knew that everything was going to work out and all things happen for a reason, not to mention that Gods timing is the perfect timing! So literally less than 2 minutes after praying God answered our prayer and Alexis found the keys using a stick with a hook on the end. Our God is Jehovah-Jireh, our God is faithful, and our God knows all the things we ever need before we even ask for them from Him.
Now this is what God showed me, since August I’ve been praying about the World Race, after getting the assurance from God I applied and was accepted in November. My prayer has been that He would provide the whole cost of the trip, the money is coming but as the first deadline approaches in July for the initial $5,000, I’m praying more earnestly. I know for absolute certain that God hears my prayers, I know for absolute certain that He is in the work of it all. I’ve learned and obeyed as to what He has told me to do in the last 5 months, (volunteering with my church and sharing the Gospel in more outreaches) my relationship with Jesus is the best and solid as it has ever been. My desire in life is to do whatever Jesus wants me to do, bringing glory to His name and sharing the Gospel with everyone.
He answered our prayer in less than two minutes after praying and I understand that through this fundraising process He is shaping my prayer life, my faith, and my trust in Him. No need to fret and no need to worry because God knows all things and all things are working together for the good.
For everyone who is subscribed or comes across this blog I’m going to share some scriptures that have helped me and encouraged me. These are Gods promises and faithfulness throughout scripture. Also please continue to pray that everything would work out in accordance to Gods will and His divine timing. Everything gets accomplished in prayer so thank you so much for all your prayers!!!
