We’ve been in India for about a month and a half already, time has truly flown by. Our time in Ecuador felt like years and this time in India has been flying by. In India we have had many amazing ministry opportunities. Our first ministry as I mentioned was in a small village called Saiphai. We taught Bible lessons and built many strong relationships with the students from all grades. During our time teaching we taught 7th graders about the difference of knowing Jesus in your head and knowing Him in your heart. That we can acknowledge that God exists, that Jesus died for our sins and yet not live for Him. The difference as Jesus said in the parable of the Wise and Foolish Builder, hearing His Word and being the wise builder who Hears and Does what He says. That we have a God shaped whole inside our hearts that can only be filled by Jesus. That within ourselves we have a longing and a desire for something more, which cannot be filled and satisfied by relationships, drugs, alcohol, wealth, possessions, or anything else! That giant whole inside ourselves can only be filled by knowing Jesus. Our God and Savior who came into the creation He created and died on a cross for the sins of all the world. And He says… “COME” “Come all who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest”. “Come, all who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!”. The invitation is for all, He says,”COME” know me and know the unconditional love I have for you.

Many students at the school acknowledged that Jesus is the Son of God but only a few from each class knew Jesus in their hearts, living for Him and loving Him and others. When my teammate and I taught about that we offered an invitation to anyone in that class who wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts and life. About 8 or 9 students stood up and accepted Jesus into their lives! Praise God! We were able to not only tell them about Jesus but truly show them who Jesus is! On the last night we were there we stayed up all night and had a bonfire. The school we were at had students staying at the hostal since they lived outside of the village of Saiphai. One of the boys who was class 9 ran up to me as I was going to get tea. Now class 9 I really had a heart for specifically because whenever I would wak in their I always felt and saw a lot of hurt and brokeness. So this young man ran up to me, his name is Zuala, we started talking and after a few minutes he shared a little bit of his testimony with me about how he use to drink. And the same concept came up again, he said,” how do I get Jesus from my head to my heart?” I talked with him some more and he asked Jesus into His heart that night. He was so excited and joyful! God is so good! All the time!! We discipled the students a lot, built strong relationships, and many students gave their lives to Jesus. Those students are world-changers!

At the beginning of Feburary we had are second debrief. It was a tourist lodge in the middle of nowhere India! But God always has a purpose for everything. And He tells us to make the most of every opportunity. The lodge was full of guests who are Hindu. The man who was our host was Hindu. Those 4 days we were their we talked with him and prayed for him. God was working so much in his life and calling him to know him. He asked us for a Bible and later that night after we all left he gave his life to Jesus as his personal Savior! I also got to share the Gospel to many Hindu’s who were at that lodge.

At the moment we are in another small village called, Darchawi, in the state of Tripura, India. Ministry has been amazing we have prayed for a lot of people for God’s healing. Yesterday we prayed for an old man who loves Jesus, and has been paralyzed for the last 6 years on his left side. We prayed for him and he was able to move his leg, God is faithful. At the same time a man who doesn’t believe in Jesus, came to the house because he needed healing in his ankle. This man was looking for any god to heal him. The pain went down in his ankle and all the swelling went away. My team leader Josh then washed this man’s feet and shared the gospel with him. The Word of God says,” so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)

God has been doing many amazing things in us and through us! We just have to be willing and open for God to use us, for God to speak through us. This life means nothing to me, it’s all going to end one day. The only thing that will matter is our relationship with God and being obedient to everything He calls and wants us to do. Live your life for two things, let this be the purpose you live and move and breathe, LOVE GOD AND LOVE PEOPLE! Amen!

Thank you everyone for generously giving to support me here. God’s calling for my life is to share HIs Gospel with the world. My last deadline is Feb. 28th, it’s a make or break deadline. If I don’t reach my goal, I won’t have enough money to go to Zambia and share the Gospel. I’ll be sent home. God is faithful, please continue to pray for me and if you’re able to, please fund me, so I can continue to do the work the LORD has called me to. Zambia Africa was the reason I chose this route. God has many plans and purposes for me going their. The only hinderance I have at this point is to be funded fully. God bless you all! Love you!
