First of all if you haven’t read my latest update on what I’m doing next you should, so that you can see the journey I have gone on to get to where i am going.
So now that you have read that, we can get started with this one.
Two words for you, Squad. Leading.
The end enough said, right? Wrong! Let’s get real here, squad leading is not infact glamorous, it’s not easy, it’s also not what I ever thought I would be doing. However, here I am saying “yes” to Abba and what He has for me and stepping into probably one of the next hardest and growing seasons of my life. But you know what? Because I am being faithful to what the Lord is asking me to do, I know and trust that He will return the favor.
This is the verse that He has been laying on my heart lately: “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, therefore I will hope in him.”–Lamentations 3:21-24
Its a beautiful reminder for me in this time of just trusting that the Lord is ever faithful! I am daily hoping and looking forward to what God is going to do. However, I am going to need your help!
Here is where you come in:
I am first foremost in need of your prayers as I know there will be attacks from the enemy of feeling inadequate. Prayers for my future squad that the Lord is already preparing their hearts to see mountains moved, and that there would be UNITY amongst the squad! Pray for my future co-leaders that we would embrace our differences yet be able to learn and push each other to lead the squad as the Lord desires; for our eyes and ears to be open for what the Holy Spirit is doing.
As well, I am indeed in need of raising funds again. I am needing to fundraise $6,500 for my time out on the field, which will be five months, and then for two other debriefs. I have been absolutely blown away with the way God has been so abundantly providing so far and I have no doubt that He will continue to do so!
