“For we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
Bulgaria, can you not see that my love wasn’t meant to be trapped in a building? It isn’t meant to be kept hidden in the cold bricks of the church. You don’t have to pay for it, you don’t have to say the right things, or do the right things. My love is free, its for everyone and not meant to be burried in the comforts of four walls. You, who say you believe in me, why aren’t you proclaiming my name? Why are you stuck in your ways, your habits? My love isn’t meant to be a fanfare, or to be a ritual…hardly, its not meant to burn candles, pray to pictures, or have perfumes of smoke dusted around you. My love is about a relationship! But, you have decided to hide it, bury it, and suffocate it in your habitual servitude to the church. To the church and not to me!
“Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes, but fail to see…?” (Mark 8:17-18)
Here is the truth my people, the church isn’t in the brick buildings or pews you sit in. Its in your hearts, you the body of believers are what make the church. I’m telling you, now is the time to break free from the slavery of habit and to live a life of freedom through knowing me! My people now is the time to let the truth of my love shine forth! Break down the walls that you have built up in your hearts and let my love come pouring in. You have been blind for so long, for while you see with your eyes, you don’t see with your heart. Open the eyes of your heart and so much more will be revealed to you!
“For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.” (Acts 28: 27)
“The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time. God became Man for no other purpose.”–C.S. Lewis (Mere Christianity)
