I was at the Passion Conference in Atlanta Georgia this past week. I had an amazing time, but most importantly I learned a ton and my fire for God was stoked!

Eph 4:1, Col 1:10, and 2Thess 1:5 all talk about how we are to be worthy of our salvation.

This word worthy can be misleading. Francis Chan brought one of them old-fashioned scales up on stage to help us visualize what it means to be worthy in our walks with the Lord. On one side of the scale was the Bible; on the other side was my life. To demonstrate worthy, the visual would be of my life resting level, side by side, to the Bible on a scale. The question for all of us to ask our selves would be this: “Is my life lining up with what the Bible says?”
Another way of asking this same question is: “does my life make sense based on what I believe?”

I believe in God, the creator and the judge of the universe. (Ps 96:13)
I believe in Jesus, the savior of the world and the hope for everyone! (Luke 4:18-21)
I believe that 10 out of 10 people will die and face God on judgment day. (Heb 9:27)
I believe life is short and that the time I am given is uncertain. (James 4:13-15)
I believe in an eternal horrible Hell. (Rev 20:10&15)
I believe that everyone who does not trust in Jesus will experience the wrath of God. (John 3:36)
I believe that everyone who does call upon the name of Jesus will be saved. (Acts 2:21)
I believe I have good news (the gospel of Jesus Christ) to share with everyone in the world! (Mark 16:15)
I believe God is counting on us to carry the name of Jesus to this lost and dieing world. (Rom 10:13-17, 2Cor 5:20, Acts 9:15)
I believe God is glorified as I praise Him for who He is and for His saving love and power on my life! (Ps 29:2)
I believe God is glorified as the name of Jesus is spread over the earth and more believers are added to His kingdom! (Ps 22:27)
I could go on and on… 😉

Now, I must ask myself: “I’m I living like I believe all that I just said I believe?”
Am I living in a way that makes sense according to what I believe?
Honestly, no, not in a lot of areas. But day by day I want to be looking more like Christ and living a life that is worthy of the gospel!
I want people to see my giddiness and joy in having been saved from Hell and in being loved by a God so good! And I want people to see my anguish and pain in knowing that there are others still on their way to hell! I want to be doing all I can to glorify God and make a difference in this world and in the lives of people for eternity!
My Christian life should not be about being radical or extreme. I simply need to live a life that makes sense according to what I believe! And then yes, that will be radical and extreme in the world’s eyes. I will stick out and look different. But in Gods eyes I will be beautiful, and I will be His delight, and I will be bringing Him glory!!!!
Living all for Jesus makes perfect sense! Jesus deserves my ALL!

If I believe it, it only makes sense to LIVE it!

I hope this was encouraging to you, because it was really convicting and empowering for me!
