It’s dark, alone in our tents, a roar rushes through the woods….sounds like an airplane..it’s the torrential downpour that has been invading Byron Bay. We have gotten our share of walking in the rain and dealing with wet stuff…including our shelters. Is this God symbolizing what he wants us to do in Byron Bay? Invade this town with his truth and word. Drench the people with his grace and light……no meekness here.

Roar like the storms, be bold and strike them so that they can hear. When you move on from here, leave puddles of God everywhere. Leave them so people can drench their bodies as they fall into the water. The water of life and hope will cover them, they will not deny the roar of Christ, the power and the majestic joy. Each drop will wash away their sins, cleanse the old life, and make them clean for the new one.

“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth…. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Taken from Isaiah 55: 10-11.

It’s almost nighttime again, the skies are a deep blue threatening more rain…..

There is an omnious presence bearing down, as we wonder what is next. It’s almost like we can feel the earth tremble, like something amazing is about to happen. Trust in what you can’t see, know that God is powerful, that his Kingdom will be brought.
