Well, the day finally came and my teammates and I made it to New Zealand. All of us arrived with different stories and a variety of challenges that led up to our launch. I think we have come to the realization that when you choose to do good and to share the love and grace of God, you get “attacked.” This especially occurs when you decide to illuminate dark parts of the world with a light that is overpowering and completely recognizable. Recognized by the hope it brings and truth it is to these places that have never had it or have forgotten it.
So here I am North of Auckland in a place called Matamata. We left the States Sunday night, skipped Monday all together and arrived sometime around 4 AM on Tuesday morning…..Crazy!! Fatigue is huge right now, but we all are trying to write a blog, as we will be fasting from screens/technology for 48 hours. We are staying here in Matamata at a place called Crystal Springs now a YWAM resort. It was the most popular spa resort in the ’60s; but was shut down when people kept developing deadly meningits. Apparently a health inspector came and said that they didn’t need chlorine, he took a dip in the spa, and died one day later. Yeah, I don’t think we are going to jump in what is left of the Spa’s. 
The Kiwi’s here at the Resort are taking good care of us until Saturday, when we hed out to our contacts. Don’t worry if you don’t hear anything for a few days, as we don’t quite know where we will be. Please continue to pray for our adjustment away from
home and our health. I personally have an infected gum from some dental work I got done before leaving the States. It is weird, spreading in my ear canal, and very painful. Right now, I am treating it with my natural stuff (grapefruit seed extract, probiotics, neem, and immune stuff) as we have to figure out a place to take me.
