money, is my final plea.
Okay, seriously……asking for money is humbling; but it is something I have to do to complete this amazing race. Already I have seen so many wonders of God, miracles performed, and extreme growth in my walk with Him. I can’t imagine that he could actually change me any more then he already has…..I mean for real. We are just now entering the part of the race where we will see more brokeness in terms of poverty and third world issues.
My team heads to Dumaguete City (on the Island of Negros Oriental) and the surrounding villages tomorrow morning. We don’t know what exactly we will be doing, but we will be teamed up with Ignitus for the month. We’ve heard from a previous World Racer that the surrounding towns, of this Tourist Island in the Philippines, were some of the most poor she had seen on the entire race. I am pumped to be used and to see God’s light and hope shine on the darkness of these places.
So, here is the breakdown of what I still need.
First Deadline: April 1- $2960.69 (in order to reach the needed $11,500).
After that I need- $2799.62 to get me through to the end (November).
I am asking for help in whatever sum you can…….monthly donations, lump sums, word of mouth to others, etc. It is by God’s grace and your support that I will see 8 more nations, pray for the sick and broken, grow in my own walk, and do some amazing things for the Kingdom.
